A printing house. A carriage shed. A car garage. Three-bed Casa Volta has been many things in its life, but now it’s a one-off loft apartment with cross-vaulted ceilings, dramatic arches and striking architectural touches.
Adding to the character of this dramatic space is a handpicked selection of custom-made furniture and one-off artworks – not to mention two statement Barovier & Toso chandeliers.
We can’t agree on our favourite space. The grand kitchen certainly turns heads. As does the garden, with its statement centenary olive tree. In fact, the entire property is wrapped around this outdoor space channelling the style of ancient Roman homes.
Young families will appreciate the split-level bedroom and fitness space: two extra single beds on the mezzanine are perfect for the kids. Immediate access to the garden – through glass doors – almost makes this space feel like a loft within a loft.
