It might not be our largest property but, wow, does Casa Adriana pack a punch. Just look at those refurbished oak trusses and that very Roman coffered ceiling. Up on the mezzanine level, where the bed is, you can see it all up close, which lends a feeling of supreme cosiness.
This is a property made for lovers keen on a quiet, elegant space to hide away in, to cook romantic meals in or simply sit with a local Lazio wine and reconnect. But then, amazingly, you’re also in the middle of the action: the Temple of Hadrian, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona are quite literally minutes away by foot.
And we must mention the surroundings: it’s as if every bijou window is ready to reveal a view akin to a Renaissance painting. Indeed, the main space has the charm of an artist’s studio: bright, brilliant Roman light flooding into a space that’s cosy, classy and struck-through with a creative spirit.
Note: Casa Adriana is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
